Kevin Hart enjoyed special weekend in Kansas City. Mass Appeal Wire Reports
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Diminutive funnyman Kevin Hart enjoyed a special weekend in Kansas City which began early Saturday morning with an arduous 5K run with hundreds of avid fans and cumulated with two sold out shows later that night. The “Get Hard” star was also spotted working out at Onelife Fitness. Hart, 36, has teamed up with Nike and Rally Health to host 5K runs across the country as part of his “What Now” comedy tour. Saturday’s free fitness event started around 7:30 a.m. at the Brush Creek Community Center.

After crossing the white finish line, an exhausted Hart collapsed on the grass beside Brush Creek but stayed until every participant completed the run. Antonia Miller, 55, was the last runner. Amid cheers and loud chants of “Miss Toni,” Hart ran up to meet her and they crossed the line together.
“We simply challenge ourselves to do what we don’t normally do. I finish with the group, I don’t leave until everyone crosses the finish line and my reason for doing that is to simply motivate people,” Hart told KCTV5 News. “My job is to make you understand you can be great and to adapt a great mindset.”
Hart also showed lots of love to the thousands of fans who showed up at the Sprint Center to watch his back-to-back comedy routine. As previously mentioned, both shows sold out. Afterwards, Hart sent out the following tweet: “Thank you Kansas City….2 Sold Out Shows!!! You guys were amazing tonight!!!! #WhatNowTour #ComedicRockstarShit #MakingHistory.”
